Cookie policy

Exactly what we use, no filler. Malaga Fiesta uses very little: one preference saved in your browser, and — only if you accept it — one analytics cookie. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Necessary

Always on

We store your day/night preference and, once you accept or reject cookies, that choice — both in localStorage, not a traditional cookie. It never leaves your browser, we never see it, and it doesn't need consent because it's strictly necessary for the site to remember what you already chose.

Analytics — Google Analytics / Firebase

Only with your permission

If you accept, Firebase Analytics turns on (it runs on Google Analytics underneath) and sets the _ga cookie, which anonymously identifies your browser across visits. This is how we know which clubs, areas or pages actually get used — nothing more. We never send your name, email or phone to Analytics; only things like the route you're on or your language.

Before you accept or choose, this cookie isn't installed — the banner at the bottom of the site blocks Analytics until then.

What we don't use

  • · No advertising or social-media cookies.
  • · No third-party tracking pixels.
  • · No behavioural profiling, no selling browsing data.

Accepting, rejecting, or changing your mind

The first time you visit, we ask with three equally visible options: Accept, Reject, or Configure. You can change your mind any time — at the bottom of every page there's a "Cookie preferences" link that reopens the panel. Your choice is remembered for about 24 months; after that, we ask again.

You can also block or clear cookies from your own browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari…) — that affects every site, not just this one.

We only use analytics cookies to see which pages actually get used — no ads, no profiling. You can accept, reject, or choose. More info
